Non (のん) will be participating in the "East Japan Great Earthquake Prevention Event -Recovery and Beyond 2024-," held in the Shiodome Shiosite underground passage in Tokyo from March 7th. She will be contributing through a video message to prevent the fading of memories related to the East Japan Great Earthquake and to promote ongoing recovery efforts.

■Event Summary

As we approach the 13th anniversary of the East Japan Great Earthquake and Tsunami, the reconstruction of the affected areas has been steadily progressing. However, concerns arise as the passage of time leads to a fading of memories and diminishing interest in the disaster-affected regions, raising apprehensions about the erosion of the impact of the disaster.

In the Tohoku region (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima) and Tokyo, the "East Japan Great Earthquake Prevention Event" has been held since the fiscal year 2017. This year, under the catchphrase "そしていま、逢いに行く。" (And now, we go to meet), the event aims to express gratitude for the support towards reconstruction while disseminating information about the current state of recovery, the charm of the affected areas, and more.
