■Comment From NON
Director Juzo Itami's films have really cool picture-making. Costumes, art, hair and makeup, all details are stylish, and the compositions are charming and humorous, just like the illustrations that Itami drew. However, I have only seen Itami's films on DVD! I am thrilled to be able to see these masterpieces, which are filled with the thrill of Japanese society, on a movie theater screen.
