J-WAVE TOPPAN INNOVATION WORLD ERA, navigated by NON.
The guest on Sunday, September 15 will be Yohei Maehata, general director of NPO J-heritage, coordinator of industrial heritage and researcher of abandoned landscapes!

We are grateful to Yohei Maehata for his assistance with the recently held “Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2024 beyond” and “ikuno art stay 2023 non ribbon art” in 2023.

As a child, Maehata became fascinated with building secret bases in abandoned factories and playing with them, which led him to visit abandoned factories.

Up to the present, he has been active in promoting the value of industrial heritage and its historical value and appeal by establishing an NPO to visit and document industrial heritage sites, organizing and managing tours and visits to industrial heritage sites throughout Japan, and planning and managing community revitalization projects that utilize heritage sites.

We will take a closer look at the innovations that opened the door to the stage on which Maehata is now active!
