On 6/27 (Thu), NON will read letters from viewers in NHK General (in Iwate Prefecture) “Oban Desu Iwate,” a program on the 40th anniversary of Sanriku Tetsudo (Sanriku Railroad) "Dear Santetsu - 40 years, thank you”.
The June broadcast schedule for “Dear Sanriku Tetsudo - 40 Years, Arigato (Thank You),” a project to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Sanriku Tetsudo within NHK General (in Iwate Prefecture)'s “Oban Desu Iwate,” which first aired in April, has been determined. NON will read letters from viewers.
The second broadcast will take place on June 27 (Thursday) (with a one-week catch-up streaming by NHK Plus).
Memories of Sanriku Railway, which will celebrate 40 years in operation this April, will be collected and introduced on the special website and in the program.
NON will also read a letter in the program.
