NON will participate in the narration of the program “ETUDE for the Future: Director Ryuichi Sakamoto to Tohoku Youth Orchestra” to be broadcast on NHK E-television on Saturday, April 13.

NON also participated in the Morioka and Sendai performances.

Program Description: “I want you to watch over the Tohoku Youth Orchestra,” Ryuichi Sakamoto told those around him before his death. After the disaster, some children who were wondering whether they should live or not, and some who almost disliked music, were changed by the Tohoku Youth Orchestra.

The children, who lost a great guide in the form of Ryuichi Sakamoto, set out to hold a memorial concert for Sakamoto.
They will perform “Ima Jikan ga Katamuite,” Sakamoto's requiem for the disaster-stricken area, a difficult piece that incorporates 11 beats and draws out each student's individuality. We will follow their search and struggle.
