Satoshi Takebe is a composer, arranger, and music producer who has worked with numerous artists as a keyboardist and arranger. Satoshi Takebe, who has deep ties to Studio Ghibli works, including composing the music for the films “From Up On Poppy Hill” and “Earwig and the Witch,” fully produced the first Studio Ghibli tribute album two years ago to great acclaim. It has now been announced that the second installment, the Studio Ghibli tribute album “Singing Ghibli Vol. 2,” will be released on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

While the full tracklist will be announced at a later date, each artist has created their renditions with a unique interpretation of the Studio Ghibli songs, making the question of who performs which track part of the excitement.

The jacket illustration is an original piece created specifically for this album by Studio Ghibli's Goro Miyazaki.
