NON Sings “Ko Usagi” for the First Time on NHK E TV's “Oha! Yo-i Don”! The Adventures of “Usa-chan” Born from a Picture Book
Saturday, September 6, at 7:00 AM, NON will appear on NHK E TV's popular program “Oha! Yo-i Don” and perform her new song “Ko Usagi” for the first time.
This song is a bonus track included on the 3rd full album ‘Renarrate’, which was just released on September 3rd.
In this broadcast, NON joins Koji (Koji Imada) and Big Brother Yoshi (Yoshihisa Kobayashi) for the “Asa no kai” and “Ohadon Taisou,” brightening up the studio and getting everyone pumped up.

“Ko Usagi” is included as a bonus track on the album ‘Renarrate’
“Ko Usagi” being unveiled for the first time, is included as a bonus track on NON's 3rd full album ‘Renarrate’.
This song was co-written with guitarist Kei Higuchi, born from his proposal: “I want to create a recording just for NON-chan and me.”
Below is an excerpt from the official “Renarrate” interview discussing “Ko Usagi.”

Kei tossed it to me saying, “I want to make a bonus track-style song” and “I want to create a track just with NON-chan and Higuchi Kei.”
I thought it would be nice to have a lighthearted song like this on the album, so it ended up feeling like a playful track.
The lyrics are based on the bunny from my picture book (“Cute na Usachan. Hige no kai”).
It's a story about Usa-chan wanting to be cool and searching for ways to do it. I drew her feeling lost, or pacing around in the forest going “this won't work, that won't work,” making it a song about cherishing what you love and aspire to.
The ending is about accepting that you have both strengths and weaknesses, even if you've only shown your strong side.

The lyrics for “Ko Usagi” are based on the character ‘Usa-chan’ from the picture book “Cute na Usa-chan. Hige no kai [Revised Edition],” for which NON created the original concept and illustrations.
This picture book tells the story of Usachan, who dreams of becoming cool, growing up while facing confusion and struggles. NON states that through the song “Ko Usagi,” she depicts the importance of accepting all aspects of oneself—both the moments of uncertainty and the strengths and weaknesses.
