This masterpiece of time-suspense, said to have influenced the 1994 film “Speed” (Director: Jan de Bont), has been reborn as the Netflix film “Bullet Train Explosion” by director Shinji Higuchi, 50 years later, as a time-suspense entertainment uniquely suited for today's era.

Hayabusa 60 departed on schedule today from Shin-Aomori bound for Tokyo.
Takashi (played by Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) greeted passengers as conductor with his usual dedication.

If the bullet train's speed dropped below 100 km/h, it would detonate immediately...
