The film “Prince of Ceramics: 20,000 Years of Journey,” narrated by NON, will be screened at the tile festival “CERASTA 2025.” NON will also participate via video message.
From Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9, 2025, the documentary film “Prince of Pottery: A 20,000-Year Journey,” narrated by NON, will be screened at the tile festival “CERASTA 2025” held at the Nagoya Kōkai Hall in Nagoya City.
※ Screening of “The Ceramic Prince: A 20,000-Year Journey” is scheduled for Friday, November 7, at 6:00 PM.
This work is a dreamlike tale in which the Ceramic Prince, a spirit of vessels born of Fire as his father and Earth as his mother, questions how his parents met and he himself came into being.
It traces the grand history of humanity through the 20,000-year history of ceramics, from the Jomon period to China, Mesopotamia, Greece, Egypt, and finally to Meissen in the West.
Directed by Shohei Shibata (Himeyuri, Utagokoro, etc.). A talk session with the director is scheduled after the screening.
NON will not be present at the venue on the day but will participate in the event via a video message.
