NON appeared at the Tokyo International Film Festival opening with “Teppen no Mukou ni Anata ga Iru.”

The 38th Tokyo International Film Festival opened on October 27th in Tokyo's Hibiya/Yurakucho area.

Approximately 260 film industry professionals and actors appeared on the 162-meter red carpet marking the opening.

Amidst audience applause and media flashes, the team for the opening film Teppen no Mukou ni Anata ga Iru (You Are Beyond the Summit), starring NON, led the way.

This film is director Junji Sakamoto's latest work, modeled after mountaineer Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Mount Everest.

Sayuri Yoshinaga stars in the lead role.

NON portrayed the younger version of the protagonist, Junko Tabei, played by Yoshinaga.

 

During the subsequent opening ceremony, NON also took the stage.

On the ceremony stage, Ms. Sayuri Yoshinaga was presented with the “Lifetime Achievement Award.”
This marks the first time in the history of the Tokyo International Film Festival that a Japanese actress has received this award.

NON stood on the same stage, witnessing this historic moment.

The 38th Tokyo International Film Festival will be held over 10 days from Monday, October 27 to Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

And finally, starting Friday, October 31, “Teppen no Mukou ni Anata ga Iru” will open nationwide.

【STORY】
