This human drama follows protagonist Asuka Kunimi, whose life was stolen by her genius chess-playing father. Fueled by deep hatred, she blossoms with newfound talent and unwavering determination to reclaim her destiny. It carefully portrays the powerful figure of a woman striving to move forward while confronting her painful past. Playing the protagonist, Kunimi Asuka, the “dark hero of the board,” is NON, whose acting evolution has been highly praised after appearing in several notable films this year. Naohito Fujiki plays Shougo Todo, a former chess player turned gigolo who teams up with Asuka to plot revenge against her father. Kana Kurashina portrays Reiko Sakai, Todo's lover who watches over the revenge plan. Shido Nakamura stars as Shoichi Yuki, the “genius chess player” father whom Asuka risks her life to avenge.
