Tohoku Youth Orchestra Concert 2018.
The “Tohoku Youth Orchestra” is an orchestra organized by elementary school students and university students who were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Non will participate in a reading at the concert in Tokyo.
Poems written by those affected by the disaster will be read along with the music.
This year's “Tohoku Youth Orchestra Concert 2018” challenges Debussy and Stravinsky ’s masterpieces.

■ What is “Tohoku Youth Orchestra”?
The Tohoku Youth Orchestra is an orchestra planned and organized from September to October 2013, based on the “Lucerne Festival ARK NOVA Matsushima 2013”, a music festival that connects Tohoku and the world, held in Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture.
The members of the band are mainly elementary school, junior high school, high school, and university children who play in different organizations, mainly in the three affected prefectures of the Great East Japan Earthquake (Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima).
