In This Corner Of The World" (Director/Screenplay: Sunao Katabuchi/Original Story: Fumiyo Konno), an animated feature film in which Non voiced the main character Suzu, will be re-screened nationwide for a limited time starting August 1, 2025 (Friday).

Set in wartime Kure, Hiroshima, the film tells the story of Suzu, a woman who cherishes small happiness in her ordinary life.

Since its release in 2016, the film has resonated with and moved audiences, drawing a cumulative total of 2.1 million viewers and recording box-office revenues of 2.7 billion yen.
The film won numerous awards, including the Best Animated Feature at the 40th Japan Academy Awards.

The re-screening of the film marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war and the year Suzu would be 100 years old if she were still alive today.
A newly drawn key visual has also been released, bringing that excitement back to the theater screen.

Nine years have passed since then. We hope you will experience this story that will remain in your hearts and minds on the big screen.

◎Comments from NON
I played the voice of Suzu Hojo in “In the Corner of the World”.
Suzu-san paints pictures. She eats delicious meals. She works at home, goes out with her family and on dates.
As she goes about her daily life, differences from modern Japan begin to emerge. And as I watched, I found myself in a place of pure, ordinary
happiness. It makes me love every day.
If you haven't seen this film yet, or if you have seen it before, please see it on the theater screen.
