The highly anticipated music video for “Film no Hikari” from NON's 3rd full album “Renarrate” will premiere on NON's OFFICIAL YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 20th at 8:00 PM!
“Film no Hikari,” written and composed by NON and arranged by Takahiro Shibata (Waranne-yo), is the lead track of this album, infused with NON's passion for cinema.
Following “Haru yo Uketo Tatsu,” Takumi Gunji returns as the MV director. At the director's suggestion, this marks the first time for a Non MV to be shot entirely on 8mm film. This album marks the first time NON has composed half the tracks and penned lyrics for all ten songs, making it a concentrated distillation of the rock that flows from within her. Featuring artists who have shaped NON's music throughout her career—Kei Higuchi on composition, lyrics, and arrangement; Ai Higuchi on lyrics; and Takahiro Shibata (Wakaranne-yo) on arrangement—it forms a more personal and densely packed album.
Tickets for the album tour “NON Renarrate tour 2025” sold out immediately for the Tokyo and Fukuoka shows upon general release. Only a few seats remain for the two remaining cities. This tour, visiting four locations nationwide, offers a chance to fully experience “NON's rock” as she returns to her roots with this album. Don't miss seeing NON at this moment of her continued advancement.
The CD, released on September 3rd, will be available in a standard edition. Additionally, for members of NON's official fan club “NON KNOCK,” a special limited edition LP-sized big jacket version featuring a new jacket cut will be sold exclusively.

NON's Comment
When I entrusted this song to Director Gunji, I was thrilled to hear he wanted to shoot it on film. Then we secured the Theatre Shinjuku, and I was thrilled all over again.
Relying solely on the clicking sound the director could hear, we pressed forward with filming, tense and nervous, thinking “It's probably working... hopefully...” I waited eagerly for the director's final cut to see how it turned out, and the incredibly emotional footage gave me goosebumps.
My heart was gripped, and I felt like crying, thinking, “So this is how sacred a movie theater truly is.”
Everything about it was moving film footage: the walls painted pitch black to create darkness, the plush seats arranged so beautifully, and myself singing with the screen as my backdrop.

Director Takumi Gunji's Comment
What I felt from this song was pure frustration and impulse directed toward the future of film, and by extension, all creators.
I felt that Non-san herself, who continues not only acting but all kinds of creative activities, embodies this song. That's why I had her stand right in the center of the movie theater stage this time.
Listening to this song, I sensed that even while being so active, NON still yearns to feel “even more excitement!” This made me want to challenge myself with something new too, leading me to attempt shooting on 8mm film for the first time.
While handling an unfamiliar camera, filled with curiosity and a touch of anxiety, I believe I truly captured the power in NON's gaze at that moment—a gaze brimming with strength and the ability to draw in those around her, including myself.
