10,000 Fans Go Wild! NON Unleashes Rock's Impulse: “Vagabond Festival 2025” Report

On Saturday, October 18th, NON performed with a special band at the “Vagabond Festival 2025” music festival held in Tainan, Taiwan.
While early winter chill had arrived in Japan, Tainan still basked in summer warmth. The local temperature reached 35°C that day, making the venue even more heated.
Approximately 10,000 audience members gathered at the main stage where NON appeared.
This shows the scale of the “Vagabond Festival.” The opening curtain rose with a light, festive bridge reminiscent of festival music.

NON brought along a special band lineup assembled just for this occasion:
Kotaro Furuichi, Koji Ueno, and Kenta Furuichi.
The audience gasped at their rock-inspired outfits, all dominated by black—NON included.
The live show kicked off with the intro to “Film no Hikari,” its sound tearing through the air.

NON and Kōtarō Furuichi's solid guitar work, combined with Kōji Ueno and Kenta Furuichi's pounding rhythm, instantly captures the audience's hearts. During the following song, “Annoying Neighbor,” NON messes up her solo entrance, forcing a restart.
Furuichi playfully teases her with a lighthearted “Oops” laugh.
After getting a laugh, they instantly recover, their timing perfect.
They then race through “Haru yo Ukete Tatsu” and the album's title track, “Renarrate.”

After a brief interlude with NON's greeting and introduction of the special members to let the frenzied audience catch their breath, they immediately launched into “Yamanaï Girl.”
Yamanaï Girl, radiating a garage rock aura, delivered a performance that was a whole different ballgame from usual, with NON's vocals riding the wave with full energy.

After the performance of “Mizu o” concluded, NON set down his guitar. As the melodic strains of “Climy” filled the air, Non dashed across the vast main stage, darting from one end to the other. It was a luxurious moment, with Koichiro Furuichi adding harmonies to NON's free-flowing vocals.

“Watashi wa Heya zyuu” brought the audience to their feet singing along, culminating in a grand finale. Those 40 minutes flew by in an instant.
Carving out a rock sound unique to this band likely marked the beginning of a new chapter for NON.
As NON later tweeted, music truly felt “fun” with every fiber of my being.
Artist and audience became one, crafting a fantastic night together.
