■The JR Hokkaido Nemuro Main Line (Hanasaki Line)
refers to a 135.4-kilometer railway connecting Kushiro and Nemuro in Hokkaido, a local line with a one-way journey of approximately two and a half hours.
This line, part of the JR Nemuro Main Line, has been affectionately known as the “Hanasaki Line.”
It is a scenic route where forests, pastures, and the Pacific Ocean unfold outside the train windows, with a Ramsar Convention-registered wetland located along the line.
