Due to its popularity, NON’s ribbon art exhibition in Kuji City is entering its third phase. The warm glow of the “Kokeshi lanterns” welcomes travelers visiting Northern Sanriku.

The exhibition “NON Ribbon Art: ‘Ribbon Tied to the Back (Kokeshi Lanterns)’ in KUJI,” which has been on display for two previous terms, is now entering its third term due to its popularity.
For this third installment, we have selected six venues—including lodging facilities and temples in various municipalities—with the hope that travelers visiting Northern Sanriku will find relief from the fatigue of their long journey through the warm glow of the kokeshi lanterns.
In conjunction with the exhibition, limited-edition postcards featuring the original artwork of the “Kokeshi Lanterns” drawn by NON will be distributed at each venue.
Please be sure to stop by when you visit Kuji.
