The poster for “Tokyo Middle 30,” which premieres on Wednesday, July 22, is now complete!

Starting Wednesday, July 22, the drama series *Tokyo Middle 30*, starring NON, will air on the Fuji TV network.
Based on the Chinese hit *Nothing But Thirty* (*Thoughts of a 30-Year-Old Woman: A Shanghai Girl’s Story*), this is an original Japanese remake. It tells the story of three women who came to Tokyo—the city of their dreams—from a provincial town, envisioning a glittering success story. Faced with the reality that things don’t always go as planned in love, work, and family life, they sometimes cry together, help one another, and laugh hysterically over trivial matters as they search for a life true to themselves at the turning point of “age 35.”
Starring Riisa Naka, alongside NON and Mai Fukagawa as the three protagonists, the poster visuals for this series are now complete!
■ Unfulfilled longings and hopes intertwine—a striking visual capturing their search for “true selves.”
The protagonists of this film are Maki Sakura (played by Riisa Naka), Haruka Yamaji (played by NON), and Kaoruko Nagano (played by Mai Fukagawa).
High school classmates who swore to be “best friends forever,” the three arrive in Tokyo—the city they’d always dreamed of—only to find themselves turning 35 before they know it.
They find themselves living a reality slightly different from the future they had imagined. Though they had gradually drifted apart, caught up in their respective lives, their reunion prompts them to confront their own “weaknesses,” “regrets,” and “true feelings”—things they had been turning a blind eye to all along.
In the newly unveiled poster, the three women are each gazing out at the streets of Tokyo through a window.
Reflected in the windowpanes are the constant flow of people and lights—the everyday life of this city that never stops moving.
The gazes of the three, directed beyond that scene, seem to carry a sense of unfulfillment, yet they also appear to be reaching out to grasp something.
――“In this city, I’m still searching for my true self.”
The visual quietly conveys their ongoing quest to find their own unique answers.
