The streaming release date for the DMM TV original drama *Happy Kanako’s Killer Life 2*, starring NON, has been set for Thursday, September 17, 2026. The key visual and returning cast members have also been revealed.
The first installment of the series, *Happy Kanako’s Killer Life*, began streaming in February 2025. The first episode, available on the official DMM TV Drama YouTube channel, recorded over 10 million views, and the total views of related videos on social media surpassed 130 million, making it a massive hit.
The newly unveiled key visual features a refreshing blue color scheme and captures Kanako (NON) holding a gun alongside Sakurai (Taisuke Fujigaya), who is aiming his gun with a sharp gaze.
A whole cast of cute animals—who voice Kanako’s inner thoughts—is also featured, including some new characters not seen in Season 1.
This image captures the unique atmosphere of the series, blending exhilarating action with a comical worldview.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the six cast members who made a strong impression in Season 1 will be returning!

The images showcase the pair—who remain as mismatched yet physically fit as ever in Season 2.
Also worth noting is the film’s unique, comical world—featuring scenes like Kanako being scolded in front of the desk of Smile Agency’s president (Atsuro Watanabe)—where interactions reminiscent of a “white-collar” company, such as vacation requests, unfold in a setting that’s hard to believe is a hitman agency.
We also see Kanako spending a peaceful moment at a café with her best friend, Kiyomi (played by Yuka Sugai).
But behind this seemingly ordinary daily life, an unexpected incident unfolds…!?
“Kanako's Happy Life as an Assassin 2” will begin exclusive streaming on DMM TV starting Thursday, September 17.
