From tomorrow, September 21 (Monday, a national holiday), through November 3 (Tuesday, a national holiday), NON’s ribbon art will be on display at “September JAM,” a multidisciplinary arts event taking place in Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture.

Today, the day before the event opens, a reception was held, and NON took the stage alongside Yoshirtomo Nara and Michihiko Ynanai to participate in a talk session.

The title of NON’s exhibition is “NON Ribbon Art – Flocking in Time.”

The venue is the “Former Yamauchi Family Residence,” a historic traditional house built in Bunka 8 (1811) that still retains its thatched roof.

Inside the house, numerous ribbon art pieces created in collaboration with traditional crafts such as Akabeko and Kokeshi dolls are on display, and ribbon art also adorns the photo spots where visitors can sit and take pictures.

The exhibition runs from September 21 (Mon, holiday) to November 3 (Tue, holiday). We hope you’ll come visit.
