The activities of the Tohoku Youth Orchestra are not limited to mere performances. We believe that the Tohoku Youth Orchestra is a \"place for growth\" where the children of Tohoku can learn about the world through instruction and performances by excellent musicians, as well as through interaction with a variety of people they would not normally meet, and experience the world together with many friends. Our goal is that the children's vitality will energize the adults around them, the region as a whole, and the entire Tohoku region, creating a new future.<\/p>\n<p>\"There are many things that can only be expressed through music.
