The film \u201cAfter the Quake\u201d, whose theatrical release was recently announced, will have its world premiere at the \u201cAsia Now\u201d section of the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival to be held in China from June 13th (Friday).<\/p>\n
This film shares the same worldview as the Saturday drama \u201cAfter the Earthquake\u201d broadcast on NHK in April 2025, and is a story of rebirth and hope based on a short story by Haruki Murakami, depicting 30 years of people who experienced the disaster.<\/p>\n
The film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on October 3, 2025, including Theatre Shinjuku and Cine Switch Ginza.<\/p>\n
NON has the voice of \u201cKaeru-kun\u201d in the film.<\/p>\n
