<\/p>\nKobe Rokko Meets Art 2024 beyond\" will be held from today, Saturday, August 24, 2012! (until November 24).<\/p>\n
This event has been held annually since 2010, with a total of more than 520 artists participating. It is a contemporary art festival where visitors can enjoy the nature and art of Mount Rokko, a symbolic mountain in Kobe.<\/p>\n
The concept of this year's event is \"New Vision\". NON will exhibit her new ribbon artwork in this exhibition.<\/p>\n
The title is \"Nonn Ribbon Art The Butterfly Tying Past and Present Together\".<\/p>\n
Four of NON's new works of art will be displayed in the \u201cROKKO Morinone Museum,\u201d where antique music boxes that were created long before Non was born are on display.<\/p>\n

ROKKO Morinone Museum is a museum located on Mt. Rokko in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
\nRokko, and exhibits antique music boxes and organs surrounded by the natural beauty of Mt.<\/p>\n

The 3rd floor venue. As you walk up the stairs, you will be greeted by a \u201cribbon tied on the back (kokeshi lantern)\u201d created in collaboration with a traditional Tohoku craft.
\nThe front of the kokeshi lantern is painted by a kokeshi lantern craftsman based on NON's design drawing, and the back is decorated with NON's ribbon art.<\/p>\n
It has been almost 7 years since I started my art activities. I have been looking at my artwork for the next step, and I have finally found what I think is the right one.<\/p>\n I have been making ribbon art for four years, but I am still discovering more possibilities.<\/p>\n Ribbons that look like insects, ribbons that look like human bodies, ribbons that look like dust, and pretty ribbons that morph eerily into various other images.<\/p>\n I am looking forward to exhibiting my ribbon works in Rokko, where I have laid them out to my heart's content.<\/p>\n I hope that the ribbon art will slowly scatter and stir your emotions. <\/strong><\/p>\n \u25a0New merchandise is also on sale at the exhibition site!<\/strong> <\/p>\n \u3010Overview\u3011<\/strong>
