On September 27, 2024, \u201cNON: The 16th Jyuzo Itami Award Commemorative \u2018Talking Party\u2019\u201d was held at a certain place in Tokyo.<\/p>\n
In addition to NON, the party featured congratulatory speeches from Atsushi Fukuda, President of Speedy Corporation; Naoki Sakai, Chairman of Speedy Corporation; Yoshifumi Nakamura, architect and Sunao Katabuchi, film director, who served on the selection committee for the Juzo Itami Award; and Hiroshi Osaki, Senior Advisor to the Japan Association for the 2025 International Exposition, who also made a speech. Yoshifumi Nakamura, architect, Sunao Katabuchi, film director, and Hiroshi Osaki, senior advisor to the Japan International Exposition Association 2025, took the stage to deliver congratulatory speeches. Takuya Tasso, Governor of Iwate Prefecture, also gave a congratulatory message.<\/p>\n
The Juzo Itami Award was established in 2008 by the ITM Itami Memorial Foundation to commemorate the legacy of Juzo Itami, a designer, actor, film director and other versatile talents who ushered in an era. The award is presented to people who are active in various fields through their innovative and authentic work, and NON was selected as the 16th recipient.<\/p>\n
NON spoke on stage as follows.<\/p>\n
\"This award is for all the work we have done as a team, overcoming many difficulties. I would like to thank all of you for your support.<\/p>\n
Looking back, I realize that I have been able to leave behind wonderful expressions with many people and have received a lot of support through our work. Thank you so much. I can picture your faces and my heart is filled with gratitude.<\/p>\n
I am very happy to meet you all again in this way.<\/p>\n
I will continue to take on new challenges in the future, so please join me then and let's have a pleasant view together.\"<\/p>\n
He expressed his deep gratitude to all those who have supported him.<\/p>\n
A total of 131 people gathered at the event, including people from the film industry, music, art, publishing, fashion, TV, radio, and advertising industries, as well as people from the Tohoku region, all of whom have been associated with NON over the past eight years, to celebrate this prestigious award together in a friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n
