NON Appears at the Lush Greenery of \u201cACO CHiLL CAMP 2026\u201d!<\/p>\n

The vibrant scent of May\u2019s fresh greenery and a deep blue sky reminiscent of early summer.
\nOn May 16, 2026, NON performed at \u201cACO CHiLL CAMP 2026,\u201d held at \u201cMt. Fuji Juku no Mori\u201d in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The festival featured a wide range of attractions and workshops geared toward families. Looking out over the venue, a truly peaceful atmosphere unfolded, with a surprising number of children running around with smiles on their faces.<\/p>\n

On the semi-dome tent stage stood only two chairs and two acoustic guitars. Amidst a quiet sense of anticipation, NON took the stage. Her healthy, slender legs, visible through her shorts, caught the eye, and her festival style\u2014a bandana paired with short boots\u2014looked absolutely perfect. By her side, supporting guitarist Aiko Oka wore an all-white outfit, creating a visually striking contrast.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet's do a soundcheck,\u201d they said, kicking off the session in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. The song they played was \u201cUsukappirai na,\u201d which wasn't on the main setlist. At this unexpected surprise, the gathered fans immediately broke into smiles of delight.<\/p>\n

Then, with a \u201cAlright, let's get this show on the road,\u201d they moved on to the main set. Their very presence exuded the pride of rock \u2019n\u2019 rollers and was incredibly cool. The opening number was \u201cRenarrate.\u201d While the song had been a hard-pop rock track with a sense of urgency on the album, the acoustic arrangement had transformed it into a light, pleasant, and driving piece. The rhythmic strumming of NON and Oka\u2019s guitars seemed to be sucked up into the clear blue sky. Above all, the overwhelming expansiveness of Non\u2019s vocals doubled the sense of openness in the venue.<\/p>\n

During the MC segment, she shared the unique, pleasant atmosphere of this festival with the audience. Then, just as you\u2019d expect, she suddenly showed her charming side by inciting call-and-response with the \u201ckids\u201d and \u201cadults\u201d in the audience\u2014and even those \u201cwho can\u2019t tell if they\u2019re kids or adults\u201d\u2014instantly uniting the entire venue.<\/p>\n

From there, the show picked up speed. Following \u201cFilm no Hikari,\u201d they performed \u201cHaru yo Ukete tatsu\u201d and \u201cYume no Aji.\u201d The organic resonance of the acoustic guitar further accentuated the pop sensibility of NON\u2019s soaring vocals. It was a fresh, rock-infused approach that stood apart from their usual band setup.<\/p>\n

During the subsequent MC segment, they carefully explained the background of the song \u201cStanding in the Wilderness\u201d before performing it. In this song, NON sang while standing, pouring out his emotions with explosive intensity. Oka\u2019s emotional guitar playing, which supported him, struck a chord with the audience. Precisely because this acoustic arrangement stripped away the grand scale of the original recording, every single word pierced directly into the depths of the listeners\u2019 hearts.
\nAs the venue was enveloped in a quiet, moving atmosphere, following an MC segment explaining that the song was inspired by Naoki Matayoshi\u2019s essay \u201cTokyo Hyakkei,\u201d they moved on to \u201cYume ga Kizamu kara.\u201d After overwhelming the audience with the song\u2019s persuasive power, the final number performed was \u201cClimy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The audience\u2019s clapping in response to NON\u2019s call was in perfect harmony, as if it had been planned from the very beginning. During the interlude and the ending, NON pulled out a harmonica\u2014a gift from Oka. In fact, it seems NON had practiced intensely late into the night the previous day. An emotional performance that defied belief that it was a first-time performance resonated throughout the entire venue.<\/p>\n
