\u201cFashion Cantata from KYOTO\u201d is a fashion event designed to promote the exchange and fusion of Kyoto\u2019s elegant and refined traditional Japanese attire\u2014a cherished part of Japan\u2019s rich heritage\u2014with cutting-edge Western fashion and artistic culture, with the aim of sharing this vision with the world from Kyoto.<\/p>\n

The theme for this year was \u201cDESIRE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the concept that the \u201cDESIRE\u201d to create something new is always at the root of designers\u2019 craft, the stage spotlighted designers who, while seeking their own evolution, strongly aspire to continue creating new worlds.<\/p>\n

NON presented three looks: Y\u2019s clothing and kimonos created specifically for this show.
\nShe wore a special wax-resist dyed kimono featuring lilies\u2014a motif she requested\u2014whose colors were coordinated with the stage design.<\/p>\n
