Fuji TV\u2019s Wednesday 10 p.m. drama \u201cTokyo Middle 30\u201d will finally air its finale today, Wednesday, September 23, from 10:00 p.m. to 10:54 p.m.<\/p>\n
Based on the Chinese smash hit \u201cNothing But Thirty\u201d (\u201cThoughts of a 30-Year-Old Woman: A Shanghai Women\u2019s Story\u201d), this romantic drama is an original Japanese remake that portrays the \u201cpresent\u201d lives of \u201c35-year-old women.\u201d<\/p>\n
It tells the story of three women who have come to Tokyo\u2014the city of their dreams\u2014from regional towns. As they face the realities of love, work, and family that don\u2019t always go as planned, they search for a life true to themselves at the crossroads of life known as \u201cage 35.\u201d<\/p>\n
NON played the role of Haruka Yamaji, a \u201cbest friend since high school,\u201d alongside Maki Sakura (played by Risa Nakamura) and Kaoruko Nagano (played by Mai Fukagawa).<\/p>\n
After about three months of filming, the cast wrapped up production ahead of the final episode\u2019s broadcast. The last scene filmed was a particularly memorable one in the story, and when the final take was called, the set erupted in loud applause, and the cast members were presented with bouquets featuring the colors associated with their respective characters.<\/p>\n
