Kana\u2019s grandmother, Tomoko (Mariko Kaga), left alone, had moved from her familiar home to a nursing home but had lost her will to live, spending her days in despair, unable even to enjoy her meals. Then Tomoko encountered Mizuhashi\u2019s cooking. Moved by how delicious his dishes were, she gradually began to smile again. Furthermore, she was surprised to find that the flavor of Mizuhashi\u2019s pork saut\u00e9 was exactly the same as that of \u201cKitchen Osawa\u2019s\u201d signature dish. She immediately contacted Kana to have her confirm the taste, and Kana, too, was moved to find that it was identical to her grandfather\u2019s. Puzzled, Kana investigated and discovered that Mizuhashi had trained at the same prestigious restaurant as her grandfather.
