Her breakthrough voice acting role as Suzu in the 2016 animated feature (In This Corner of the World) earned her the Special Jury Prize at the Yokohama Film Festival. She went on to win the Audience Award in the TOKYO Premiere 2020 section at the Tokyo International Film Festival for her leading performance in 私をくいとめて (Hold Me Back).
In 2022, NON wrote, directed, and starred in the feature film Ribbon, which was selected as a Special Invitation entry in the GALA Presentation section of the Shanghai International Film Festival. That same year, she received the award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role at the Japan Academy Film Prize for her role in さかなのこ (The Fish Tale).
Her recent projects include voicing the lead character Haru in the globally streamed Netflix series (Pokémon Concierge) (2023), starring in the feature film (The Hotel of My Dream) (2024), and appearing in the live-action drama (Happy Kanako's Killer Life) on DMM TV (2025). In April 2025, she will also appear in the Netflix film (Bullet Train Explosion).
