The television program [Ekkyo Broadcast] project [NON Yaroga! Channel] #25 features NON having fun learning about the tradition of Osaka's kushikatsu (deep fried skewers), and how to make them in Osaka, the home of kushikatsu.
This time Mr Ueyama, the president of [Kushikatsu Daruma] which was founded in Osaka's Shinsekai in 1929, came to Yomiuri TV Station with lots of kushikatsu (deep fried skewers)! Mr Ueyama talked about a variety of things, including the traditional sauce they use, the special way they make kushikatsu, and the history of kushikatsu!
