■Outline of the work

Witnessing the sorrow of art students having their graduation exhibition canceled due to the pandemic and sensing the tattered emotions of youth, Non felt a strong desire to uplift the worn-out spirits of society. This inspiration led to the creation of "Ribbon," a story of resilience for art students who had their futures taken away.

The film depicts the struggles of an art student named "Itsuka," portrayed by actress Non, who has lost her means of expression and is in conflict, unable to find her path in life.

Keep an eye out for Non's innovative concept of "emotion expression through ribbon art," conceived for the film. Colorful ribbons represent the various emotional flows of the protagonist. The dynamic movements of the ribbons, sometimes sharp and pointed, and at other times gracefully dancing, were brought to life by the impressive collaboration of Shin Godzilla's director and special effects director, Hideaki Anno, and Katsuro Onoue, respectively!
