NON will appear in Fuji TV’s Wednesday 10 p.m. drama *Tokyo Middle 30*, airing during the July 2026 season. The series premieres on Wednesday, July 22.

It has been announced that I will be appearing in Fuji TV’s July drama series, *Tokyo middle 30*!
The first episode will air on Wednesday, July 22. It airs every Wednesday at 10:00 p.m.
“Tokyo Middle 30” is a romantic drama that realistically portrays the ‘present’ of “35-year-old women.”
This series is an original Japanese remake based on “What 30-Year-Old Women Think: A Shanghai Women's Story,” which was a massive hit in China.
The story follows three women who left their provincial towns for their dream city of Tokyo, envisioning glittering success stories. Faced with the reality that love, work, and family don’t always go as planned, they sometimes cry together, help one another, and laugh hysterically over trivial matters as they search for their own paths in life at this pivotal “age 35” crossroads.
The lead role is played by Riisa Naka, and I, NON, will play the second lead—Naka’s character’s “best friend since high school”—who charges through life on sheer momentum.
In conjunction with this announcement, we have received a comment from NON.

Q) Please tell us how you felt when you were cast in this film.
"The script was so interesting that I was really eager to do it!
When I was cast, I was brimming with imagination and a desire to explore, wondering, ‘How should I approach this?’"
Q) Please share your impressions after reading the script. I understand that you, NON, will soon be part of the “mid-30s” generation yourself—were there any aspects you could relate to precisely because of that?
“It was very interesting. The three very different lives these women lead in their mid-30s are completely different from what they imagined back in high school. I was on the edge of my seat watching the three of them reunite, confronted with that reality, as their present lives unfolded in a whirlwind of events.
We’re standing at a crossroads where we have to rethink our future. I think this is the age when we become acutely aware of that.
I remember the shock of seeing the differences between myself and my former classmates. When I see friends my age who are married and raising children, I respect them from the bottom of my heart, and it makes me reflect on my own life. I feel like I’ve finally gotten to the point where I can grow plants. It’s so different. But I’ve made progress! Here I am, right now.”
Q) What are your impressions of Haruka, the character you’re playing? Also, how do you plan to develop her character?
“Haruka is a carefree person, and I think her endearing charm lies in the way she charges ahead without overthinking things. While that tendency can sometimes backfire and lead to self-destruction, her free spirit is full of vitality, open, and bright. I’ve really grown to love Haruka as a character.
I’ll do my best to ensure that Haruka’s refreshing energy comes across vividly to the audience.”
Q) This is your first time acting alongside Mr. Naka. Please share your thoughts on co-starring with him as one of the three main characters.
“We filmed a scene with the three of us the other day. We had a comfortable atmosphere while acting together, and I had a blast.
Mr. Naka is incredibly kind, and he has such a beautiful presence—he’s so cool that I found myself gazing at him in awe. He’s funny to talk to, and we laughed a lot.
The character “Kurumaki” that Mr. Naka plays is so charming that I’m really excited about the scenes we’ll be building together from here on out.”
Q) Please share a message for our viewers.
“Please stick around to see the three of us struggle through it all. I hope this gives you the energy to face the days ahead.”
