Starring NON, “Happy Kanako's Killer Life 2” Unveils Its Latest Trailer and Theme Song, Packed with Over-the-Top Action and Nonstop Comedy!

The latest trailer and theme song for the DMM TV original drama *Kanako’s Happy Life as a Hitwoman 2* (streaming exclusively starting September 17), starring NON, have been released!

The newly released trailer features familiar cast members—including Kanako, played by NON, and Senpai Sakurai, played by Taisuke Fujigaya—as they unleash even more spectacular, large-scale action sequences.
The trailer is packed with the contrast between intense action and laid-back everyday moments, highlighted by surreal exchanges like the one between Kanako and Futakoburakuda: “I’m not really into shows where people keep dying left and right,” “You’re the one saying that?”

Starting in Season 2, new assassin allies will join the fray, including Ado (Aoi Morikawa), a freelance master assassin; Nana (Hikaru Takahashi), who is burning with a desire for revenge; and Yui (Sayu Suzukawa), who killed her parents. Meanwhile, the shadow of the secret assassin organization “M” begins to loom, leading the story into a desperate, life-or-death crisis.

The theme song, which is featured in parts of the trailer, is once again performed by “Kotsume Kawauso’S,” with Nanahira on vocals, continuing from Season 1.
Set to the new song “Otome no Tactics,” the trailer hints that we might see the “Kanakoro Dance” again—a move that became a hot topic in the previous season.

It was also announced that Asuka Saito will return to voice the “creatures”—which act as imaginary friends voicing Kanako’s inner thoughts.
In addition to the familiar Clawed Otter and Lop-Eared Rabbit, she will take on the role of the insect Diving Beetle for the first time, showcasing her “12 Creature Transformations.” Combined with Season 1, she will have voiced a total of 17 distinct characters.

In addition, a video titled “Happy Kanako’s Killer Life: A Rough 3-Minute Summary,” narrated by the Asian small-clawed otter voiced by Saito, has been released, offering a concise recap of Season 1.
