Today marks the finale of “Tokyo Middle 30.”
On FOD, the video streaming service operated by Fuji TV, the FOD Special “Tokyo Middle 30: A Sleepover After 15 Years” (3 episodes total)—a follow-up to the main series—will begin streaming all at once today, Wednesday, September 23, at 10:54 p.m. Of the three episodes, the first episode will be available for free.

Set half a year after the series finale, Maki (Risa Nakamura), Haruka (NON), and Kaoruko (Mai Fukagawa)—three best friends since high school—hold a sleepover at Maki’s house when Haruka returns to Tokyo. Late into the night, over drinks, they candidly share their memories of the past.
Be sure to enjoy the trio’s humorous banter, which offers a slightly different flavor from the main series.

“I received the script for this ‘three-person follow-up’ where we chat nonstop at Kurumaki’s house, and I really enjoyed reading it. In the main story, we got down, vented our frustrations, and were saved by Kurumaki, the ultimate hero. But in this spin-off, we’re just catching up, eating, and complaining—the three of us are carefree, tough, and having fun from start to finish.
