“Happy Kanako's Killer Life 2” begins streaming its final episode today. A video of NON and Taisuke Fujigaya's “Leisurely Safari Park Tour” and photos from the wrap-up have also been released.

“Happy Kanako's Killer Life 2,” an uplifting, energy-drink-style action comedy starring NON, finally released its fifth and final episode today, Thursday, October 8. Along with the episode, a “Leisurely Safari Park Tour” video featuring NON and Taisuke Fujigaya, behind-the-scenes footage from Episode 5, and photos of the two from the wrap-up shoot were also unveiled.

■NON & Taisuke Fujigaya: “The Puns of the Century” Showdown at Fuji Safari Park

The newly released content is the second installment of the pun-off location shoot featuring the “clueless” hitman duo, Kanako and Sakurai. This project, which garnered a huge response in Season 1, has returned on a larger scale, set this time at “Fuji Safari Park.” In keeping with the theme of animals voicing Kanako’s inner thoughts through puns, the duo will interact with the animals and feed them from a safari bus while writing and presenting handwritten animal puns on flip charts upon cue. A Fuji Safari Park staff member riding along with them will judge which pun is funnier.

On the day of the shoot, the weather was beautifully clear—hard to believe it came right after a September in which Shizuoka Prefecture had recorded 12 consecutive days of rain. NON and Mr. Fujigaya kicked things off first thing in the morning with an energetic greeting: “We’re at Fuji Safari Park!” Since it was NON’s first time at Fuji Safari Park, she was highly excited and full of enthusiasm, exclaiming, “The animals might charge at us!” and “If it comes down to it, I’ll catch them!” When it was revealed that she had actually arrived early specifically for this shoot, Fujigaya responded, “You’re really fired up for your puns, aren’t you?” and they boarded the bus in a friendly, lighthearted atmosphere.

Having secured a victory in the first installment at Ueno Zoo, Fujigaya is aiming for a two-game winning streak, while NON is looking to avenge her loss. What kind of puns will they come up with, and who will emerge victorious? Please enjoy the heartwarming interaction between the two—a far cry from their roles as hitmen in the show.
