The national tour “NON Freedom (10) Tour 2026” kicks off on Sunday, October 18, at Amber Hall in Kuji City, Iwate Prefecture.
As if to celebrate the start of the tour, all 15 “NON Ribbon Art: Ribbons Tied to the Back (Kokeshi Lanterns)” have been gathered at the entrance rotary of the venue, Jumonji Chicken Amber Hall.

The Kokeshi Lanterns are works for which NON created the design sketches. They combine “kokeshi”—a traditional craft of the Tohoku region—with ribbons, featuring multiple layers of ribbons wrapped around the back. The lantern bodies incorporate designs inspired by traditional Japanese motifs such as peonies and dragonflies.

Within Kuji City, the exhibition has been held sequentially at venues including Amber Hall, the Kuji City Information Exchange Center YOMUNOSU, Roadside Station Kuji Yamase Tofukan, Chofukuji Temple, and Shin-Yamane Onsen Beppin-no-Yu. This marks the fourth phase of the exhibition.

On Sunday, October 18, the “NON Freedom (10) Tour 2026” Kuji performance will feature an acoustic set with special guests Yoshihide Otomo and Ai Hashimoto. Tickets for the performance are sold out. If you are attending the concert, please be sure to enjoy the kokeshi lanterns at the venue. Even if you cannot attend the concert, you can still view the exhibition during the display period.
