NON took the stage at the “BESV JAPAN 10th Anniversary ‘Votani’ Rebranding Announcement Event” and reflected on the past 10 years spent alongside the brand.

On Tuesday, September 29, the “BESV JAPAN 10th Anniversary ‘Votani’ Rebranding Announcement Event” was held in Tokyo, and NON, who serves as a BESV brand ambassador, took the stage.
This event marked the convergence of three milestones: the 10th anniversary of BESV JAPAN’s founding, the 10th anniversary of NON’s appointment as brand ambassador, and the 10th anniversary of her activities as “NON.”

During the talk session, when asked about the past 10 years, she reflected, “I was first approached under the name ‘NON,’ and since then we’ve walked this path together, so my gratitude grows deeper with each passing year.”
Toward the end of the talk session, to commemorate the 10th anniversary, Toshiaki Sawayama, CEO of BESV JAPAN, presented NON with a bouquet of flowers.

With a smile, NON shared her enthusiasm for the future, saying, “I think these past 10 years have felt both long and short. I’ll continue to do my best so that even more people can enjoy my music.”
The conversation also turned to the 10th anniversary of her activities as “NON.” When asked what had changed and what had remained the same over the past decade, she replied firmly, “It’s all the same. My philosophy is that I will never change.”
“If there were a single tree, I think of it as one that has steadily grown new branches and leaves,” she said, comparing her journey to the growth of a tree. Regarding the challenges she wants to take on in the next 10 years, she spoke forcefully: “As long as I’m alive, I want to keep expressing myself. I won’t set any limits for myself, and I won’t say ‘This is good enough’ even once. I want to keep discovering new sides of myself and push the boundaries of my expression without limits.” Looking toward the future, she added, “I want to become the kind of person who makes everyone exclaim, ‘How long are you going to keep shining like this!’”
When asked about the driving force behind her ongoing challenges, she stated firmly, “It’s the feeling of ‘liking’ something.”
“Perhaps what’s important is the purity of that ‘liking,’” she revealed, sharing her thoughts.

Announcing the New “V Heart” Symbol: As part of this rebranding effort, Art Director Issei Kitagawa led the creative direction, revamping Votani’s logo and key visuals. The new “V Heart” symbol features a memorable design that changes its appearance every time you look at it—it can be seen as a heart, a face, or even a skull.
In addition, new visuals featuring NON and Votani, photographed by Masafumi Sanai, have been released.
