The Japan Film Professional Awards (commonly known as the NIPRO Awards) is a film award established in 1992.
While distinct from established film awards, the awards focus on highly acclaimed films and individuals, and are determined by the votes of the selection committee members and the independent evaluations of the executive committee.

Each year, the selection committee consists of people widely active in the film industry, from those involved in film production, such as directors, producers, and screenwriters, to those involved in advertising, box office, film critics, and editors.
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on June 17 at Theatre Shinjuku (ticket sales for the ceremony will be announced later).
